And here we have a brand new year to kick up a storm of resolutions and goals.
What have you got penned down this year?
Looking back briefly, staying at home for the past 10 months was an experience of a lifetime. Yes there are many moms who stayed home for a decade, I'd say they deserve the most compliments. It will definitely be an honor to know moms alike and to share our ups and downs.
ok so back to resolutions, for the year?
1) Be Specific; you know what you want
2) Measurable ones, it can be to achieve 10 standard push ups or to be able to run 5km under 35min etc...
3) Achievable, ask yourself if your goals can be achieved? Are they too high to reach?
4) Realistic goals. of cos, it is impossible to get a newborn baby to stand right. Set your goals on a path that gets you motivated and reachable. Losing 20kg in 2 months is way out, that's unhealthy weight loss.
5) Set a timeline, say 12 weeks or even 10 days. It takes consistency to build a habit which eventually cultivates into a lifestyle.
Now, let's get pen and paper to jot it all down and we are on our way to a goal we will succeed.
On a side note, I'm just wondering how many other busymoms alike set fitness goals? Let's get connected.
It will be an exciting year of challenges. Bring it on!
