Now being a stay at home (fitness) mom [sahfm].. how shall we ever imagine having the time to exercise?
I have 2 young boys aged 3 & 1 years old, both require attention and supervision, have no helper, household chores to render, meals to prepare, disturbed sleep every night, works round the clock, and my health and fitness goals to sought after. wow..sure is a long list and it goes on.
So how do I make it?
1) PLAN - I go by a weekly plan for which days for household chores and which days for exercise.
2) MANAGE - On a daily basis, I manage the time with priority in mind. Everyday is different. And remember, don't be too hard on yourself if you have to miss a workout session.
3) EXECUTE - Day of exercise can be a jog (morning / evening) with the boys, playground fun or short mini workout at home. You know, 10 squats and 10 push up works very well for me...yes even if it's just that.
I'd really love to share all my fitness moments with my boys, but sometimes I lack the opportunity to snap or video it down. So pardon me for that, nonetheless I will share as much as I can go even if it's just going to be words with minimal visual stimulation.
